Robert Pattinson Thinks Kristen Stewart Kiss Didn't Work, Regrets Bad Speech (VIDEO)

Pattinson didn't get his way at the MTV Movie Awards!

We've just learned what Robert Pattinson thought of kissing real life girlfriend Kristen Stewart at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards...turns out Rob had something completely different in mind! Plus, he's disappointed in his own acceptance speech -- we have video.

Our friends at MTV.com caught up with Robert Pattinson backstage at the MTV Movie Awards to get the inside scoop on the onstage kiss and award speech that left both Pattinson and on- and off-screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart blushing. The reporter asked Pattinson how much effort he put into preparing for the kiss, and Rob said, "I had the best ideas last night and I was telling everybody, I was like 'Just listen, Leave it to me, I've got it all under control' and I gave a whole selection, but no one thought they were funny, so we ended up doing something which didn't work."

Pattinson also said that he wishes he'd have portrayed a little more preparation and gratitude in his Best Male acceptance speech. Rob said, "I should have done a more coherent speech for the Global thing. It's just so ridiculous. I still don't have any idea what's going on. I just have to keep working to not explode. I mean, I'm incredibly appreciative of every little piece that's come together so I can be living this ridiculous life."
