Robert Pattinson Would Host SNL if He Could Write It

Please let him write some sketches!

Of course we all want Robert Pattinson to host an episode of Saturday Night Live. Like really, really badly. But he seems to be a little bit nervous to take that plunge. Unless they actually let him write the material for the sketches. Please?

We wish Robert wasn't so nervous to host Saturday Night Live. He's obviously an awesome actor and though we don't see him doing comedy very often, we know he could do it. SNL's writers are pretty fabulous and they've got tons of amazing material to work with for Robert.

Robert claims he's "terrified of doing stuff like that." We get that he's a pretty private guy and also seems quite serious when he's in the public eye, but we think this could be the biggest episode in Saturday Night Live history.

But Robert just fears he wouldn't be funny enough. He says, "If you're not funny then it's like, 'God, why did that guy do it?'... I mean, it's difficult." That's definitely true, but we doubt Robert will be any less popular for it. He may be quiet, but we think he has that cute awkward humor that everyone seems to love so much.

Really, Robert Pattinson would like to write his own episode to host. He says, "I'd love to write an episode, with their [guidance]... That would be fun, but, I think that's kind of against the protocol." Yeah, it probably is, but they'd probably let you throw around lots of ideas!

Please, please let Robert Pattinson write some material so he can host Saturday Night Live!
