Robert Pattinson and Emilie De Ravin's Instant Chemistry

I think we can all agree that Emilie De Ravin is one lucky girl. After all, she is starring with Robert Pattinson in the upcoming movie Remember Me. It's possible she could become the next Bella (hey, you never know)! And not only did Emilie get to star with Robert, but she said the two of them had instant chemistry. No fair.

Emilie said the producers had spent a lot of time looking for a girl for her role in Remember Me, but they had a hard time finding someone perfect for the part. Until they met Emilie of course. She says, "I flew to New York to test with Rob and we immediately got along and had instant great chemistry, which is not an easy thing to come by. Obviously you're acting, but you want to have that connection with somebody. We had it. And I was thrown into a wardrobe fitting that same day." Doesn't it sound like she's bragging a little bit? Saying good chemistry is hard to come by? Yeah, well I bet if we were cast in a movie with Robert Pattinson, we'd have chemistry too, right?

And Emilie was also asked what her relationship to Robert Pattinson was like off-screen. It's hard to tell if they're still friends, but she says, "It was so great being able to work with someone you immediately get along with and is incredibly talented and is driven to make the film as good as we can. Having someone you can go and talk with about a scene, and it's all very casual and easy, that made filming such a delight - having a friendship level and a commitment to the script. The way Rob and I developed our relationship onscreen was very natural, and just seeing what happened with scenes, what happens in the moment." So, she's talking about their off-screen relationship while filming the movie; what about now? That's what we want to know!

Of course, Emilie also talks about all the craziness that surrounded her and Rob during the filming of Remember Me. While Emilie is pretty well-known for her role as Claire in the television show Lost, she's probably not too quickly recognized on the street. Robert Pattinson, however, is; and filming got a bit tricky with so many fans trying to swarm him at all times.

OK, so maybe I'm a tad bit jealous that Emilie De Ravin got to star in a movie with Robert Pattinson. It's actually an awesome thing that they had such great chemistry; because that means the movie will be extra good!
