Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Miss Each Other

Pattinson and Stewart split as she finalizes new movie deal.

We reported on Wednesday that Kristen Stewart is house-hunting for a shared pad in L.A. with her beau Robert Pattinson. She was snapped on her cell phone as she left one property, and we suspected she was chatting with Rob. Now a source reveals that living and working on two different continents is indeed driving Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart mad.

As we've been reporting, Robert Pattinson is currently situated in the south of England filming Bel Ami with Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci. While it's been rumored that he and Kristen Stewart were seen kissing in a pub in London last week, we've been tracking Stewart closely. She's currently holed up on the West Coast, shopping for a new house in the L.A. suburbs of Beverly Hills and Sherman Oaks, seven time zones behind the England clock from Rob.

A source who knows the couple says the separation is driving them nuts: "They're counting the days till they start Breaking Dawn in the fall...They'll have to make do with calls, texts and romantic e-mail," the source has spilled.

Kristen is getting tied up in the new project, K-11, which is being directed by her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart. It's not clear what the storyline will be or when K-11 will release (we're currently reading a release date of 2010), but in any case, contracts for the film are said to be near completion (Nikki Reed will co-star). The project is expected to keep Kristen Stewart occupied at least through June, when Eclipse promotion will heat up. Then Breaking Dawn is expected finally to start taping in September.
