Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Forced Separation
Just a Silly Show?
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart made a separate appearance at the New Moon screening in New York, later ducking out together anyway. After dodging relationship questions again and again, do you think the separation was necessary, or forced?
One of our LimeLife compadres made a good point about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart keeping their distance from each other: it's almost like an office romance between the two! While Summit could have easily planned this for other reasons, we were reminded of those couples that stay far, far away from each other from 9-5, simply not to arouse suspicion. It never works, anyway--once the flames are fanned, you're done for.
While Pattinson and Stewart were doing their best to avoid each other in NYC, the other New Moon cast members were having a heck of a time dealing with prying questions from the press. They must get sick of having to talk about Robert and Kristen all the time! I think I'd go crazy.
Peter Facinelli, who was questioned on the red carpet about the two, said that "Whatever their lives are people should let them have their privacy,"while Kellan Lutz joked "I'm a blond. I don't think about anything!"
Robert and Kristen later partied at Mezzanine, where they were seen talking and laughing. I used to try to analyze the whole Robsten scenario, but it's clear that these two are going to keep up the charades for some time to come!
