Robert Pattinson is Scared of Swine Flu

Can you blame him?

With the New Moon press tour in the middle of the H1N1 epidemic, we can imagine it must have been a bit scary for the Twilight celebrities to have to shake so many hands and give so many hugs. Especially when those fans are trying to kiss you!

People are giving Robert Pattinson some flack because he freaked out a bit when a fan tried to kiss him.  But with all the talk of swine flu, I definitely don't blame him! Even if a random person tried to kiss me, I'd be grossed out, but someone who's getting over H1N1? No thank you!

Allegedly, a female fan jumped out of a stopped car and ran over to kiss Robert. She said to him, "My mum wouldn't pull the car over to let me out because I'm just getting over the swine flu... so I jumped out at the red light just to see you." So, Robert yelled out, "You have the swine flu?!... What the hell are you doing kissing anyone?"

I would have done the same thing if I were him. And ran far, far away! I don't blame girls for wanting to kiss Robert Pattinson and the other Twilight stars, but don't they realize how much they're spreading germs? I suppose it would be better if they just kept kissing those Robert Pattinson cardboard cutouts!
