Robert Pattinson may be preparing to film the first sequence of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," but a new report reveals another project Pattinson's asking to gear up for. It's a TV show that's massively popular in the U.K. and has featured mega-stars like Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise!

Robert Pattinson reportedly loves "Top Gear," a show that airs throughout Britain and features stars pulling stunts on a race car track. It seems every fella in the U.K. is addicted to the show, which has aired for 15 seasons since 2002.

It sounds like artsy Robert Pattinson is addicted to the show just like all the lads back home -- according to one account, "close pals of the actor revealed that he just can't get [away from] watching the car show on his computer."

The report went on to reveal that Pattinson "doesn't want to be left out of the show which is loyally followed by his circle of friends. He dreams of being invited on the show one day but realizes his driving sucks at the moment."

Indeed Robert Pattinson's not classically known as a "car guy." He's joked in interviews that he drives an old, beat-up BMW that he frequently loses and that recently caught on fire. Plus we have no idea when Rob thinks he'd have time to film for "Top Gear" -- he and Kristen Stewart are reportedly so desperate for a break that they're already planning their Christmas holiday!

Although we'd love to see Rob behind the wheel...nothing sexier than a guy who really knows how to drive!
