Sandra Bullock Responds to Jesse James' New Fling

Ouch. We've been tracking the reports from last weekend that Sandra Bullock ex-dog Jesse James was spotted in Vegas hand-holding and lip-locking with tattooed TV star Kat Von D. Always the high road-taker, Sandra Bullock is voicing up -- and chinning up, revealing that she supports Jesse's conduct and decisions now that their marriage is over.

"We have both moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other," Sandra Bullock says in the new issue of "People." "Anything else that is said on my behalf is inaccurate."

Sandra Bullock finalized the adoption of her son Louis on August 13 in a courtroom alongside her sister Gesine. It's official that Jesse James is moving to Austin, Texas, where Sandra is a permanent resident, in order for the pair to raise their four children in close proximity to one another. Sandra is weighing in on Jesse's move, saying only, "I support Jesse in his move to Austin."

And it sounds like beneath the surface, Jesse James is having a hard time wrapping his head around the fact that his relationship with Sandra Bullock is really over. A Jesse James source is running interference to insist that Jesse and ink-covered Kat Von D are "just friends," and another friend of Jesse says, "I think he's starting to grasp reality a bit more, and the realization that it's going to take a lot longer and a lot more than he thought to bring things back to what they were."
