I have long been a fan of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (fondly referred to as MK&A). Their cheesy made-for-tv movies were a staple of my childhood, and who could forget their star turn as Michelle Tanner. Now the girls are all grown up and I couldn't be prouder.
Not only are they maturing into (seemingly) well-rounded adults, but they're also taking over the fashion world. Lately I've had the pleasure of trying on some of the pieces from their Elizabeth and James line. On the rack the clothes seem overly simple and a bit boring, but when worn they take on a whole new shape.
The tailoring is precise and incredibly flattering. Even their oxford shirts, like this plaid one, are well-structured and feminine. And we all know plaid is huge this season.
