Seal's Kids Help Him Connect With God
Seal Talks Faith and the Kids
Seal and his wife Heidi Klum are always really open with the press, talking about how much they adore their family (and their sex life, for that matter). Seal recently took things one step further when discussing his faith and his family in the documentary Oh My God?, in which some celebs like Hugh Jackman talk about their personal beliefs.
"If I'm constantly reminded by those access points, then I need look no further," Seal said in the documentary, talking about his wife, model Heidi Klum, and his four children. The singer, 46, says that he has "chosen to see God in people" over the years.
The documentary's creator, Peter Rodger, commented that "My goal was to find out what this entity that goes by the name of God means to people. I was fed up with the childish schoolyard mentality that permeates this world, what I call the 'My God is Greater than Your God' syndrome. By throwing out the question in an interview as 'What is God?' instead of 'Who is God?' it makes the interviewee look at God from the outside in rather than from the inside out."
Hugh Jackman added to the documentary by saying that "If you put Buddha, Jesus Christ, Socrates, Shakespeare, Arjuna, Krishna at a dinner table together, I can't see them having any argument."
Do you like it when celebrities speak about topics like politics and religion, or do you prefer them to keep their ideas to themselves?
