Selena Gomez Doesn't Like Twilight Either

All of these teen celebrities are coming out and claiming they have no interest in Twilight. First it was Miley Cyrus and now Selena Gomez says she doesn't watch the movies. Is it because she doesn't like vampires or simply because ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner is one of the big stars?
Sometimes we think that even if we had absolutely no interest in the Twilight movies, we would still watch them simply because they're a huge part of pop culture right now and we want to be in the know. Plus, it's not like you have to be the biggest vampire fan ever to enjoy a vampire story. And we actually feel a bit like if we were a teen celebrity, we would stay on top of what other teen celebrities are doing. Especially when the movies they're making are so, so popular.
But apparently, Selena Gomez doesn't care about Twilight. When asked about it on the Bonnie Hunt Show, she said, "I don't watch them. Sorry, I feel bad... even though I am a teenager."
Hmmm. We can't help but wonder if Selena's anti-Twilight attitude comes from the fact that she once dated hunky werewolf Taylor Lautner? We understand it could be a bit difficult to watch your ex-boyfriend on the big screen, especially since he gained about 30 pounds in muscle and looks pretty hot.
But Selena Gomez doesn't sound bitter and actually says she's on Team Jacob when asked. We think teen celebrities should support each other a bit more and not act like they're far too good for the hottest things in pop culture!
