Doherty's Wedding Goes Straight To TV

Third time's a charm for Shannen Doherty perhaps? The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress wed her partner, photographer Kurt Iswarienko, at a private estate in Malibu, California, on Saturday.

This is the third time 40-year-old Doherty has tied the knot. She was previously wed to Ashley Hamilton, son of George Hamilton, for six months and then managed a seven-month marriage to Rick Salomon -- who is best known for appearing in a sex tape with Paris Hilton -- before that union was annulled in 2003.

For Saturday's ceremony in front of 170 friends and family, Doherty wore a traditional white gown with black waistband, while her bridesmaids were dressed in black. the couple sent out invites -- with a photograph of themselves on the front -- requesting that all guests also wear black.

In keeping with the Kardashian-esque theme, the wedding was filmed for Doherty's new reality television show Shannen Says, which will be hitting our tv screens in January. Speaking about the upcoming season, which will follow Doherty as she planned her big day and culminate with Saturday's festivities, TV channel WEtv executive John Miller said, "People will see a side of Shannen they never expected to see. I would watch her go to a supermarket. She's insanely compelling."

Doherty however, is hoping that this marriage will be much more than a briefly entertaining episode or publicity stunt, as she told People last year, "Marriage to me is such a gigantic commitment that it's not something I'd ever go into lightly anymore. I've learned my lesson." We'll see.
