Shia LaBeouf Directs Video for Cage

Shia's dream comes true

Wouldn't it be nice to have dreams of producing videos for one of your favorite musicians and then actually get the opportunity? That's exactly what happened for Shia LaBeouf.

In 2007, Shia LaBeouf talked about how much he would love to make a film about Chris Palko, more commonly known as Cage. And now, in 2009, Shia has directed a music video for Cage's new single, "I Never Knew You," from his upcoming album, Depart From Me.

We didn't even realize Shia knew how to direct music videos, but this video is actually pretty awesome and Shia even gets to make a cameo appearance. We might even go so far as to say this is the best video we've seen in a long time and fits along perfectly with Cage's song. We wonder if Shia's video will help Cage get the recognition he has been missing out on since he began his career.

Is this the start of a new career for Shia? We think it's only a matter of time before he's going to make that movie on Cage's life story.
