Sia's Doesn't Believe In Death By Chocolate
Song of the day
Haven't we all? I can't help but love a song with that title. And since we featured a song by Sia's old band, Zero 7, the other day, I thought it was only appropriate to listen to a little Sia.
Sia's "Death by Chocolate" off her Some People Have Real Problems is actually a quite emotional and motivational song. I'm a fan of the gospel-like chanting in the background, telling us that we'll grow strong and that we'll be OK.
Just listen to how sweet these lyrics are: "Death by crying doesn't exist/Though the headaches feel a bit like it/You might explode but you'll reach the end of the road/And you little tree/I'm certain you will grow...Death by anger this is true/Just let him go/He can't hurt you/Little girl this is such a cruel/Cruel world/This is the first of a million broken heart"
The lyrics are so true and are perfect for anyone going through a broken heart for their first time. Or any time.
Death by chocolate sounds so much better than death by crying, and while we hope you indulge in lots of chocolate eating this weekend, we hope you don't die from it.
