Danyl Johnson Wows Simon!

We wish we got British television! Could it be the next Susan Boyle? Well, not really. Danyl Johnson is a 27-year-old male who's not really in need of a makeover. But like Susan Boyle, he had Simon Cowell pretty excited to hear his singing.

Danyl Johnson just auditioned on the X-Factor and it's safe to say he made it to the next round. He sang the Beatles', "With a Little Help From My Friends" and blew everyone away.

You know how you don't really get the opportunity to see Simon Cowell smile all that often. Well, he was smiling throughout Danyl Johnson's entire performance. And when Danyl finished his performance, Simon stood on his feet clapping. We love when that happens!

When giving his critique of Danyl, Simon said, "I've been doing this for how many years? That was single-handedly, the best first audition I have ever heard." It seems that Simon had a rough day with auditions and was more than thrilled to see someone like Danyl finally hit the stage. He later added, "He could be one of the best contestants we've ever had."

Though we can't watch the show here in the U.S., we're excited to follow Danyl's journey on the X-Factor and to see if he keeps making Simon happy!
