Simon Cowell Named Highest-Paid Primetime Man
Simon Cowell earns more money than Trump...but not Oprah.
Simon Cowell has just topped the list of the highest-paid men on American television. Cowell's creativity, business-savvy and snide remarks bring in a whopping $75 million per year for his iconic role as the most influential judge on American Idol.
Who joined him on the list?
Talking in millions, Donald Trump pulls in 50 and Ryan Seacrest gets 30. Charlie Sheen and Steve Correll each receive $21 million for their parts on Two and a Half Men and The Office, respectively. Howie Mandel ($15 mill), Kiefer Sutherland ($13 mill) and -- huh? -- Jeff Foxworthy ($11 mill) rule as well, followed by House's Hugh Laurie ($10 mill) and David Caruso of CSI: Miami ($9 mill).
Still, the girls take the cake with Oprah having made a reported $385 million in 2008. But think about it: $75 million dollars?! Simon Cowell's still single, right? By the way, next season Cowell's salary could be even more...like $100 million.
