Scarlett Johansson is countering reports that she's "devastated" about her ex, Ryan Reynolds, by having insiders talk about her not needing a husband to have fun. Wheee! I'm single! We get it.

Scarlett was seen at the home of Jeremy Renner, where the Hurt Locker actor invited a slew of Hollywood actors and actresses for his birthday, including Christina Aguilera, Colin Farrell, Ben Affleck, Kevin Connolly, Rebecca Hall, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

A source went to the press to say that Scarlett was seen talking--not kissing!--Kevin Connolly, and that afterwards she bounced around from person to person at the Hollywood event. Oh, and we can't forget the agents, who were also seen listening to Scarlett, gathered in a group!

We're supposed to take away from this this report that Scarlett is 100% fine, and that she is happy being single. Even though she just broke up with her husband, I wonder what stopped her from going to star-studded bashes when she was with him?
