Sneak Peek of DJ AM's Reality Show
DJ AM's final work
We weren't sure if MTV was planning on airing DJ AM's reality show. His show features him traveling around the country and meeting with young people battling drug addiction. Adam Goldstein, also known as DJ AM, recently lost his battle with addiction and it was questionable whether his show would be aired. But DJ AM's family and MTV say yes; and we have a sneak peek.
Do you think MTV should air DJ AM's reality show, Gone Too Far? We'll be interested to see what it's all about and what exactly he says to others about taking drugs. Adam Goldstein's death was declared an accidental overdose of cocaine and prescription medicine. He had just finished the reality show project before he died.
Goldstein's family put out a statement saying, "After careful consideration we have decided to air the show... Adam felt strongly that by doing this series he could help other addicts who were at a crisis point to get sober. Adam was fully aware that if it were not for his own sobriety he never would have achieved the level of success and happiness he had found. Helping people in their recovery was a huge part of Adam's life."
Will you tune in? The sneak peek makes it look incredibly powerful and we think it will be an interesting look at addiction from someone who's actually going through it. Even though DJ AM lost his own life, we think he helped others along the way.
Gone Too Far will air on MTV on October 12 at 10 p.m.
