The movie is based on a children's book -- Nicky Deuce: Welcome to the Family -- written by Schirripa. Schirripa, who has also penned a series of books that includes A Goomba's Guide to Life, The Goomba's Book of Love and The Goomba Diet, is producing Nicky Deuce and will also star in the movie.
The plot: Nicholas Borelli (Noah Munck, iCarly) is a nerdy teen who's sent to Brooklyn to spend the summer with his Italian-American relatives.
There, he gets an education on how some of his relatives live, and, according to Deadline.com, which first reported the Sopranos reunion happening for the movie, Nicholas gets the nickname "Nicky Deuce" and accidentally becomes involved with a gangster named Bobby Eggs, who will be played by Gandolfini.

Here's hoping we see the whole gang back at the Bada Bing soon. In the meantime, their Nicky Deuce get together will air on Nick next year.
