Spider-Man's web has snared another Hollywood hottie. Shailene Woodley, who starred in The Descendants with George Clooney, is reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming superhero sequel.

Variety reports that Woodley, 20, is in talks to play the young web slinger's love interest Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Woodley would take over the role filled by Kirsten Dunst in the original Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi, which also starred Tobey Maguire and James Franco.
Also in the rumor mill is Spidey's next villain. As Variety points out, the first film ended with Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) encountering a mysterious figure in The Lizard's cell with questions about his father, while lightning struk outside.
All signs point to Electro, the electricity-wielding madman who tormented Spider-Man in the comic books. And now it appears Sony studios is hoping for lightning to strike twice.
