Sprinkles Creates First Cupcake ATM [VIDEO]

24-Hour Cupcakes? Yes Please!

Have you ever gone on a Oprah and Gayle type road trip just to track down some really delicious treat? Well, start mapping out the route to Los Angeles, because Sprinkles cupcake bakery has created the world's first cupcake-dispensing ATM and it's sure to be worth the trek.

"This automatic cupcake machine dispenses freshly baked cupcakes, cupcake mixes, apparel and even cupcakes for Fido," a Sprinkles rep told LAist.com. "In the heart of Beverly Hills nestled between Sprinkles Cupcakes and the brand new Sprinkles Ice Cream, 24 Hour Sprinkles will be continuously restocked day and night with a variety of freshly baked cupcake flavors."

The "world's first cupcake automat" will begin offering eight flavors (including red velvet) from the ATM (actually, ACM - Automatic Cupcake Machine, right?), and each cupcake comes perfectly packaged in its own little box (i.e. no smooshed frosting).

Even better news: in April, Sprinkles is opening an ice-cream shop next door, which means you no longer have to wait for a three-year-old's Dora the Explorer birthday party to have ice cream and (cup)cake.

And yes, the Sprinkles ATM, or "24-Hour Sprinkles" as it's also known, does have its own Facebook page.
