'Star Wars' Ewok Actor Arrested For Exposing Himself

Nicholas Read has joined the dark side. The dwarf actor, who played an Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, is facing a jail sentence after admitting to exposing himself to a college student while on a train in England.

Read, 41, was arrested in January after flashing a young woman while on a train bound for Manchester and then taking a cell phone picture of her horrified friend.

Read, who played a furry Ewok in the final Star Wars episode and a goblin in Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone, admitted to the offense, but he now faces imprisonment because this is the second time.

The actor was arrested in 2010 for performing a sex act in the presence of a schoolgirl. He performed lude sex acts under a magician's hat for half an hour.

So for his sentencing this time around, the judge offered no leniency.

"The bottom line is you are in breach of a suspended sentence," Judge Roger Thomas told him during his appearance in court. "The normal consequence of that is to prison you go, and that may well have to be the outcome."

Read has also been banned from riding England's trains, and he must register as a sex offender.
