'Twilight' Author, Meyer, Says the Series May Continue

With the series finale film set to hit theaters two weeks from today, 'Twilight' "Twihards" are facing the cold, hard fact that their trilogy has really come to an end.

But, has it? Maybe not according to phenom author, Stephenie Meyer.

At a press conference held in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday, Meyer told the rapt room of reporters that she does, indeed, have plans to write another book in the series -- just not at any time in the near future.

“I had planned out where it would go for a couple more books,” she said. “So I know exactly what would happen. … There are other characters that I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories.”

We agree!  Would you love it if Bella, Edward and the gang got a reprieve and we got to learn more of their story?
