The Voice coach Cee Lo Green recently told TMZ that the feud isn't for real, noting, "This is Hollywood, California. Hardly anything's legit. I think it's entertainment for everybody."
Of course, the Idol folks continue to stoke the fire, when they released a statement about the Carey/Minaj dustup on Friday: "This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had."
With the tough competition against Idol these days and the show getting a little long in the tooth, the feud between Carey and Minaj could get more viewers tuning in to see if there is onset tension.
