Take That Kelly & Michael: Regis Philbin Joining 'Rachael Ray Show' for Once a Month Appearance
Regis Philbin Gets 'Rachael Ray Show' Gig
Regis Philbin just can't stay off television, and it looks like her might be trying to give his former show, Live! some competition since this time he's joining Rachael Ray on her daytime chatfest.
Seems a strange combo, doesn't it?
Philbin won't assume co-host duties on Ray's show, nor will he have a daily -- or even weekly -- segment.

Instead, look for Philbin to pop onto Ray's show one Monday a month.
Sounds like a retiree's dream schedule to me. At 81 years old, Philbin isn't quit ready to retire all the way, so this is a nice compromise.
Philbin makes his first regular appearance on The Rachael Ray Show next Monday. This is his first return to the morning talk show schedule since signing off from Live last November after 28 seasons.
Philbin told USA Today his decision to do Ray's show was a no-brainer: "I'm not going to say I don't want to do your show! I think it's fun. I spent my whole life doing this ... [Now] it's not the every-morning burden."
Philbin has never really left the TV, has he? He's filled in for Piers Morgan on CNN and appeared on Betty's White's Hot in Cleveland, among other appearances.

He's looking forward to the gig with Ray, saying, "I like her a lot. I've done her show a number of times ... She's a little dynamo."
