Testosterone levels rise with vitamin D.

If the fire is lacking in your bedroom, maybe it's time you stepped outside. According to a new study, men with higher amounts of vitamin D in their bodies (mostly gained from sun exposure) tend to have higher sex drives.

According to research done by scientists at the Medical University of Graz in Austria, a man's testosterone level (the main sex drive hormone) rises at the same rate as the levels of vitamin D in his body.

The study showed that men with higher levels of vitamin D also had higher levels of testosterone in their bodies. And since the majority of vitamin D in the human body comes from the skin's reaction to sun exposure, the study confirms that just one hour of sunshine can boost a man's testosterone levels by almost 70%.

So go out and get your man some rays. Just remember to take it in moderation -- an increased sex drive isn't worth him looking like a leathery member of Jersey Shore.
