Taylor Momsen Thinks You Should Get a Life

What do you think of Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen's style? Many have been criticizing her fashion choices lately. She is currently in New York City and has been seen wearing garter belts and barely-there pants. She is 16 years-old and her revealing choices have people talking. But, Taylor Momsen doesn't care what we think.
"I don't care," Momsen told E! News. "I think if everyone's going to be so upset about what I'm wearing, I'm like, well, maybe you should look at your life a little more. I don't know why you're so obsessed with mine."
Momsen continued and said that her fashion choices are her way of expressing herself as an artist. "Music inspires me," she said. "Fashion means everything. I mean, it's art. Art means everything to me, so fashion's another side of it. It's expression, it's music, it's a way of showing and really being who you are in your own way that no one can take away from you."
But, it also sounds like she likes pushing the limits. "Everyone has an opinion," Momsen says. "Why not make it a shocking one?"
Why not? Well, maybe because you are 16 years-old and many young kids are hoping to mimic your style? Guess we have to keep reminding ourselves that "it's art."
