Taylor Momsen Goes Bright Red and Smoky
Bold eyes, red lips? Taylor Momsen went full-steam ahead with her most recent makeup look, which included red, red lips. Thinking back, Taylor Momsen's always going for the bold looks. If you love a dramatic style, why not try one out for the holidays?
When you're preparing your palette (and by palette, I mean face) for Taylor Momsen-inspired beauty, go a little lighter than you might usually. Push yourself for a paler look with matte foundation and pressed powder, concentrating on erasing under-eye circles. After things look smooth, add a light dusting of peach blush.
For your eyes, think concentrated, slightly metallic products. Bronze eyeliner will do the trick, especially when paired with champagne shadow smudged up to the creases of your eyes and added below the bottom lashes, paired with brown eyeshadow in the same areas. While Taylor also added bronze in the inner eye area, I think that's optional. Add a copper shadow right outside where you added brown, bringing the copper shadow out further in a wing until you reach the end of your eyebrows.
Now that your eyes are looking oh-so-dramatic, you can complement them with a berry red lipstick topped with a ton of gloss. Ooh la la! I can't wait to make myself up.
