Tea Companies Want Lady Gaga as Their Rep

Gaga for tea?

When you think of tea, you don't exactly think young, hip, and cool. And some tea companies want to change that. Which is exactly why they're fighting over who gets Lady Gaga as their rep. If anyone can make tea cool, it's definitely Lady Gaga.

We personally love tea, but we recognize that it's not quite as cool as coffee or, let's say liquor. It could totally use a whole new revamp and some tea companies seem to think Lady Gaga could do it best. According to UK's The Sun, at least two tea companies are in bidding wars to get Lady Gaga as their rep. And it sounds like Twinings is in the lead.

A source told The Sun, "Her management have received a load of offers from major tea companies but Twinings are the frontrunners. They want to launch a new tea with her face on it. Names like The Taste Of Gaga are being batted about. The idea is to have tasting sessions in which she would participate. The tasters are coming up with a tea with an oriental flavor. They want to market tea to a new, younger generation - particularly in America. Gaga is making drinking tea cool again."
