What is this?

Yesterday, we discussed recent reports than Ted Koppel's son, Andrew Koppel, died after a drinking binge. New information received from disturbingly points out that Andrew Koppel could have been dead for four hours before the cops were called. Were his friends really partying in the next room over when he died?

The story of how Andrew Koppel died might not be as clear cut as we first thought, after Belinda Caban went to Radar Online to describe the happenings in detail.

Andrew Koppel died in her home in Washington Heights, she confirmed, but she added one detail that wasn't included in the original reports: paramedics stated that Koppel had been dead for four hours before they arrived on the scene.

Caban claims that she called the cops for help, but they didn't arrive until an hour had passed. The fire department spoke to Radar Online and said that it took them under five minutes to respond. Caban also added that she had to call back to check on the progress of the rescue workers.

Since Andrew had remained at Caban's apartment for six hours, it's possible that she was drinking herself. We won't know for sure, but it was clear that they were having a good time in the other room... and perhaps time slipped by faster than Caban thought?

There are additional rumors circulating that Andrew was gay, but Caban says that the man he was with was only a friend.

"Everybody is asking me that question, is Russell gay and was that somehow involved," Caban told "My friend is not gay. He is not gay. He is a really nice guy. This is New York City, everybody goes out, has fun, meet friends and hang out."

Do the additional details released on Andrew's death answer any questions that you had, or do they make you more confused?
