Teresa Giudice Breaks Silence On Bankruptcy

This week's biggest LimeLife story: Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Teresa Giudice and her husband have filed for bankruptcy with a debt of $11 million. While many public figures would be humiliated, Teresa Giudice is speaking out on why she actually is very rich.

This is truly publicity at its finest. Teresa Giudice spoke to our pals at PopEater on why this mega-bankruptcy isn't the end of the world. Here are some of the highlights:

Teresa Giudice on what was behind the money meltdown: "When the economy crashed, like most families, we tightened our belts and changed our lifestyle."

Teresa Giudice on why she lacks nothing, despite the debt: "No matter what happens, rich or poor, if we have our health, our family and love, we'll all be fine. You can be fabulous even if you don't have a dime! It's all about attitude, hard work and morals. We teach our kids all three and lead by example."

Teresa Giudice on how she and her husband plan to rectify the situation: "I have lots of jobs: I film the show, I do appearances, I run an online boutique called TG Fabulicious and I have my writing. I'm working on my next book right now! That we're still able to have dinner with our kids every night is such a blessing."

Teresa Giudice on the public's response to her bankruptcy: "The kind messages from everyone have been so amazing and uplifting. I want to thank everyone for their love and support!"
