The Anna Nicole Smith TV Movie is Being Cast...Who Would You Pick?
Actresses Currently Auditioning to Play the Troubled Star
Five years after her death, Anna Nicole Smith is finally getting her comeback. It's being reported that Lifetime - the network that specializes is guilty-pleasure, made-for-TV movies - will be bringing Smith's strange, tragic tale to the small screen.
Who would you pick to play the small town girl turned stripper, turned Playmate, turned Guess model, turned party girl, turned addict, turned victim? And what about her nefarious attorney, Howard K. Stern, who later became her Svengali and who, after her death, tried to make off with her baby daughter, DannieLynn, by falsely claiming he was the father?
Tough roles to cast, for sure, but we rather like Gawker's picks. For Smith, they chose Lindsay Lohan. Their reasoning? Lindsay may only be 26, but she's lived hard enough (and looks it) to play the role. Plus, Lindsay's last shoot for Lifetime, for the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic, went so smoothly, how could the network not want to work with her again. Yes, we're being sarcastic.

To play Stern, Gawker suggests none other than David Schwimmer, who does bear a resemblance to the smarmy attorney. And hey, it's definitely a far cry from the role Schwimmer's best known for: lovable geek Ross Geller from Friends.
Other roles to be cast include Larry Birkhead, Smith's actual baby daddy as well as Smith's deceased octogenarian husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall. There's also Anna's teenage son, Daniel, as well as her tough-minded mother, Virgie.
Do you agree with Gawker's choices? Who would you cast to fill the roles?
