Moving right along...
Lionsgate is on a role with casting for the Hunger Games movie! Yesterday we learned that the District 11 tributes, Rue and Thresh, were cast. And now we're learning District 1 has their tributes, too! Jack Quaid will be playing Marvel and Leven Rambin has the role of Glimmer.

I love that Lionsgate is moving right along with Hunger Games casting. I have a feeling that they'll release the names of new named tributes every day and then will release all the unnamed tributes in one big clump. But first, let's talk about Marvel and Glimmer the tributes from District 1!
The name Jack Quaid might just sound familiar to you. After all, Jack is the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. And now the 18-year-old is making his big-screen debut. We don't know a whole lot about Jack, so it will be interesting to see him follow in his parents' footsteps as he takes on the role of Marvel.
Leven Rambin, however, does have some experience in Hollywood, though you might not know her by name just yet. She has appeared in all kinds of shows, like All My Children, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, and Disney's Sonny with a Chance. She also had a starring role on ABC's Scoundrels.
.
What do you think of these newest casting decisions? I can definitely see Leven getting down and dirty as Glimmer and think Jack has a great Hunger Games look, too. They'll join Amandla Stenberg and Dayo Okeniyi as tributes thrown into the games. Along with the stars of the movie, Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta. Liam Hemsworth will play Katniss's good friend, Gale.

And I absolutely cannot wait to hear who lands the role of Haymitch. After filming The Hunger Games, I have a feeling all of these actors and actresses will be making it big!
