The longest-running game show in TV history is holding a casting call session, TVLine.com reports, in which male models are invited to showcase their skills at waving their hands in front of jet skis and new cars and helping contestants play games like Plinko and Hole in One.
The search begins Aug. 30 in Los Angeles, as TPIR wannabes begin their quest for the job by sitting for interviews with the show's producers and current TPIR models Amber Lancaster, Gwendolyn Osborne, Manuela Arbelaez and Rachel Reynolds.
The models will have to impress the producers and current show stars with the verbal skills, of course, as well as their ability to "properly showcase a product," TVLine reports.

Next, the models will have to show off their on-camera skills, and along the way, the field of candidates will be narrowed down to six finalists. On Sept. 28, those finalists will be revealed, and viewers are invited to cast their vote for the dude they'd like to see turning letters on TV every day … oops, wrong show … the dude they'd like to see passing out Plinko chips on TV every day.
Portions of the male model search will also play out in a web series at the PriceIsRight.com website.
Viewers vote through Oct. 4 at PriceIsRight.com, and on Oct. 15, the winning model will make his TPIR debut.
May the best --by which we mean yummiest -- model win.
