Reports suggest it's another peace offering.

Tiger Woods and wife Elin Nordegren are cooling down on their conflict, reports suggest, after his car wreck, 14-mistress sex scandal and sex addiction rehab. A new story has just hit that Tiger is going to great depths to path up things with his wife. His latest attempt? A new boat.

While the construction workers who are building the boat insist they don't know for whom it's being built, the 61-foot, custom-designed boat is docked less than ten minutes from Tiger's estate-in-progress on Florida's Jupiter Island. This sporting boat has been named Solitude, and sources say it's a means for Elin Nordegren to foster her diving hobby.

The boat is nowhere near the size of Tiger's 150-foot yacht Privacy, which has been another topic embroiled in scandal as reports have had Tiger onboard Privacy with his mistress Rachel Uchitel since the Woods marriage bomb exploded. (By the way, check out Uchitel's new TV gig...ugh.)

It's said Tiger splashed out $2 million to $3 million on the new boat, and there's buzz that he's hoping it will put romance back into his marriage with Elin. Says a source, "Maybe the boat will represent a new beginning for Tiger and Elin. Romantic sea air can do wonders for a troubled marriage." The source also said, "Tiger has had [the boat] covered up for quite awhile. But now it is out in the open and soon he can actually enjoy it."

We'll see if this floats, but to us, it doesn't sound like it. We have another report that Tiger Woods treated his sex addiction rehab like "a joke." We sort of doubt there's much Solitude ahead for Tiger and Elin after all...
