Tiger Woods Exits Rehab, Locals Start Talking
Hattiesburg folks talk tinted windows, high security, and road-blocked restaurants.
Well, the reports were right: Tiger Woods has indeed left his sex addiction rehab clinic. It appears Tiges made his exit on Friday morning, and now residents of the town where the clinic is located are opening up about how they were subjected to the scrutiny of his stay.
Reports affirm that indeed Elin Nordegren came to pick up Tiger from the Pine Grove behavioral health center. While the residents in Hattiesburg haven't been able to spot Tiger themselves (witnesses say security is circling heavily and that the facility tinted their windows), they know he's there. One retail employee told People.com, "I know people that know people that work there that said he was actually there, so I do believe [it]."
Hattiesburg residents clearly have been following the updates of Tiger Woods' personal life. For example they know that Elin and Tiger have called off their divorce and that they're planning a private getaway together. Some residents have said that they applaud Tiger for his efforts to overcome the inner workings that possessed him to sleep with roughly 14 women while he's been married.
.
And even though their only scoop on Tiger is what they're hearing and reading, Pine Grove's neighbors say that Tiger's stay at at the clinic has disrupted their town and their lives terribly. One is particularly happy to see him -- and the press -- go: "Now I can actually drive down that road. There's a really awesome Thai place I haven't been able to get to in weeks."
Life will return to normal for Hattiesburg residents...but will it go back to normal for Tiger Woods? Sources say that he'll make a "shock return" to golf in two weeks -- get that story here.
