Tiger Woods Planning "Shock Return" To Golf In Two Weeks
While PGA refuses to comment.
Remember the management recruiting firm Accenture that ditched Tiger Woods as their poster boy around the holidays? Apparently they've made amends, because Tiger's reportedly golfing in their golf tournament in late February. Yep. Get the story here.
The Australian Melbourne Herald Sun -- who keep their eyes closely on Tiger because he's such a huge figure in the Australian Masters and other pro tourneys -- have reported that Tiger will bust out of sex addiction rehab in Mississippi just in time to play in the Accenture Match Play Championship from Feb. 15 to 21 in Tucson, Arizona. According to the Herald Sun: "Only a fortnight after allegedly checking into a sex addiction clinic in Mississippi, the world No. 1 is set to stun the world by returning to the Dove Mountain course where he made his comeback from knee surgery last year."
We were bracing for a Tiger comeback in the spring, but now it's happening earlier than we expected. It appears that his wife Elin's visit to see him at sex rehab a couple weeks ago did both of them good: not only have they called off their divorce to escape on a private cruise, apparently their reconciliation may be healing Tiger's career boo-boos.
.
It's said Tiger may choose to compete in Accenture's Match Play Championship because it's for real golf "purists" and leaves out media who follow pro golf for its sensation factor...at least that's what how the Match Play has worked until now.
By the way, will Accenture feature the Tiger Woods mistress golf balls collection? Porn star Joslyn James says hay-ell no. Ha!
