Tiger Woods "Yelled" and "Cursed" Before Apology

Tiger Woods wasn't so calm.

He freaked out before televised apology.

Tiger Woods made headlines after he reportedly yelled at his wife, Elin Nordegren, prior to his I'm-so-sorry press appearance. Even though there have been reports that Tiger and Elin were getting cozy in Florida, all is not 100% well. Hardly a surprise, but shouldn't we be reading about Elin throwing a fit instead of Tiger?

The National Enquirer collected some dirt about Tiger and Elin prior to Tiger's special apology appearance. According to the tabs, one of their therapy sessions ended in tears after Tiger faltered in naming all his mistresses. (It's hard when you have that many!)

According to the Enquirer, Tiger's been getting advice in all the wrong places, including from Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan. Basically, Elin asked for the names of the women involved in the dalliances, and Tiger exploded.

"He said, ‘I'm not taking this anymore! I've been humbled enough. No More!'

He's been listening to his friends Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley, who are telling him to stop apologizing and get back to golf. Jordan told him, ‘It's time to cut your losses and get back to taking care of YOU,'" reported the tabloid.

Yes, Tiger really should be thinking about himself, don't you think? His priority definitely should not be his family right now *sarcasm, sarcasm, sarcasm.*

And then there's the apology drama: it's said that Tiger freaked out when Elin refused to support him in public.

"Just before he went on the air, an insider said: 'Tiger was ready to bolt, threatening to call off the whole thing.

'He was eventually calmed by his advisers. They edited the speech to delete references to Elin being present and added a sentence about Tiger's mother, scripting the hug between them.'"

Ug. Can you believe it?!
