Tina Fey Wasn't Worst Dressed in SAG Award Dress
We don't blame her
Some celebrities love getting all dressed up for awards show events. While others simply dress to avoid landing on the worst-dressed lists. Tina Fey is in the latter category. And can you really blame her?
Not all celebrities are fashionistas who live for choosing their award show dresses. But that doesn't mean they don't still have the need to look good for the events. After all, appearance really matters when it comes to awards shows. Otherwise, you stand a chance of landing on the dreaded (gasp!) worst-dressed lists. This really gets Tina Fey freaking out. She says, "I'd much rather go un-photographed than be on the worst dressed list" and I don't blame her. But it's kind of hard to avoid those cameras, isn't it?
Tina Fey's Zac Posen dress at the Golden Globes got a lot of criticism and she did indeed end up on some worst-dressed lists. But as Tina Fey says, "I don't have a lot of time to fuss about [how I look] one way or another," which makes sense since Tina always seems to be crazy busy working.
Luckily, Tina's purple satin Ferragamo dress was much more well received at the SAG Awards this weekend. She looked absolutely stunning and says, "I like the neckline and I like the color." Tina's dress choice was much safer than the Zac Posen from the Globes, and she and everyone else seem to be happy with it. Oh, not to mention Tina Fey won the SAG award for Best Actresses in a Comedy Series. A SAG award and staying off the worst-dressed look? Sounds like a double win to us!
