'To Catch a Predator' Host Chris Hansen Caught Cheating on His Wife
Hansen Videotaped in Rendezvous with Fellow Reporter
For reals, Chris Hansen? The man who's built his reputation by laying traps for Internet sex pervs and catching them in the act on videotape has now been caught in the act himself.
The To Catch a Predator host is the subject of a new National Enquirer investigation in which the tabloid caught him cheating on his wife -- via videotape -- with a reporter who's more than two decades his junior.
According to the Enquirer, Hansen, 51, and Kristyn Caddell, a 30-year-old Florida TV news reporter, have been hooking up for at least four months. While the TV host has been in Florida to investigate the disappearance of boater James Trindade, who's been missing since 2006, he reportedly met Caddell and immediately began an affair with her.
The Enquirer caught him on videotape last week going out to dinner with Caddell, and then returning to her Palm Beach apartment, where he remained until the next morning.

The Daily Mail has further details on the creepy situation, including quotes from a source who says Hansen has told Caddell he loves her, and even used the tired "my wife and I have grown apart" chestnut to woo the Florida TV reporter.
Hansen's wife, Mary, and two children, live in Connecticut.

No response on the scandal yet from Hansen, but dude, if you're in the process of preparing a statement, might we suggest you work in the phrase "hoisted by my own petard"?
