The nerds will have their revenge this week, as the brainy bunch from the Big Bang Theory and the dessert-loving losers from American Pie lead the latest batch of DVD and Blu-ray releases.

The Big Bang Theory: The Complete First and Second Season on Blu-ray

Sheldon, Leonard, Penny and the gang arrived with a splash for The Big Bang Theory's first season in 2007, introducing us to the world of theoretical physicists and the beautiful girls they love. But it's not until this Tuesday that the Bang finally arrives on Blu-ray, offering fans a boatload of bonus material, including gag reels, a making-of featurette and an interview with a real-life physicist hired to consult on the show.

American Reunion, DVD and Blu-ray

When we first met the American Pie kids they were in high school desperately trying to lose their virginity. Four movies later, they're all grownup desperately trying to hold on to their youth.

Jim (Jason Biggs), Oz (Chris Klein), Stifler (Sean William Scott), Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) and Vicky (Tara Reid) are back ten years later for a high school reunion. But have they grown into responsible adults, or will the reunion prompt a return to their old hormonal, pie-porking ways?

Bonus features: The Blu-ray version contains an "unrated" cut of the film, seven deleted scenes and 13 extended scenes, several extra featurettes with cast and crew interviews, and a short called "Ouch! My Balls!" which takes a deeper look at the cast's penchant for hitting each other in the nuts.

Also on DVD this week: the writerly drama Being Flynn, starring Robert De Niro, Paul Dano and Jullianne Moore, and the third season of the SyFy series Warehouse 13, which follows a team of investigators on the hunt for supernatural artifacts.
