Toddlers & Tiara's "Star" Honey Boo Boo Child Is Getting Her Own Series [Signs of the Apocalypse]

Proving that we're nothing if not a sordid, bottom-of-the-barrel-scraping society, Alana Thompson, the most infamous of all the horrid "Toddlers & Tiaras" wannabes, is getting her own show.

Heaven help us.

Us Weekly reports that the spinoff, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, (I can't even type that with a straight face) will premiere on TLC in August.

The network is trying to explain/ the six episodes by saying; "When she’s not chasing after crowns, Alana’s with her family in rural Georgia doing what her family does best: four-wheeling through mud pits and picking up road kill for the family cookout."

Alana's mom is, no doubt, OVERJOYED with this development.
