Gisele took to her Web site for the grand reveal.

It's common for stars to go about quirky means of announcing their babies' births. Some wait weeks to unleash the announcement; others bring paps right into the delivery room. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady kept us on pins and needles by waiting nearly ten days to tell the world what their new son's name was -- but we're big fans of the all-American moniker!

On Friday Gisele's Web site featured an announcement including the following:

"Hello!

I want to thank you all with all my heart for the immense love I have received here on the website. It is a pleasure to receive messages from each one of you here.

I am living a very special moment in my life, Benjamin is a blessing and I could not be happier.

I would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and 2010 with lots of light!

Benjamin Brady! We love it. Tom Brady said earlier this week that he would have compromised on a name from Gisele's native Brazil, as long as it was "a name that I can pronounce!" But he predicted they'd go for something more "traditional."
