Tom Cruise Film Set: Bulls Escape, Injure Two
They were unhappy with the script.
A group of bulls ran amok recently on the set of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz's upcoming movie, Knight and Day, in the town of Cadiz, Spain. Seven bulls in all broke through their pen and ran through the streets, injuring two women.
Production on the film was halted when the pack of angry bulls butted through a gate and ran down a series of narrow streets before finally being captured on a nearby beach. Two women were hurt, though the injuries don't appear to be serious.
Cruise and Diaz weren't on set, as they were wrapping up scenes in Austria. The action-comedy finds the pair as lovers on the run, travelling the globein a mad-dash of cover-ups and secret alliances.
As for filming in Spain, it has been postponed until filmmakers can ensure no more bull jail-breaks.
"Nothing will be filmed in Cadiz until we have a new plan that guarantees the safety of local residents," a spokesman for the city's mayor said.
