Tom Ford Goes Casual
Recession, what recession?
In typical Tom Ford fashion, the ex-Gucci guy and purveyor of magically cut menswear, has just launched a denim line. And by line, I mean two styles of exorbitantly priced cotton.
What man wouldn't mind spending $990 dollars on a pair of jeans? Especially if said jeans have an 18k gold-plated front button and special pockets lined in silk. Hell, I might buy a pair.
The fancy pants are made from the best Japanese denim that looks and feels raw but isn't, in order to avoid pesky indigo rub-off. We wouldn't want any Thomas Pink shirts to be ruined in the wearing of these jeans.
Oh Tom. What will you think of next? Diamond studded socks? Cashmere swim trunks?
Now if only all those i-bankers still had jobs. These baby blues would be the perfect addition to casual Friday.
