Travellers Pick Sleep Over Sex, Study says

Counting sheep has never been sexier.

Sometimes you just gotta to have your Zs. According to a new survey by Westin Hotels & Resorts, 51% of travellers would prefer a perfect night's sleep over great sex.

The international hotel chain surveyed 12,500 people in numerous countries about their hotel stays and sleep habits. Just half of them said a good night's sleep is better than a night of great sex. When the same question was asked a decade ago, only 31% said sleep was better.

Canadians were the only ones to favor sex over sleep. Also, men were found to prefer sleep over sex more than women.

Among the other results seen in the survey was 42% of people would rather have a sleeping pill placed on their pillow than chocolate, 60% said their BlackBerry often kept them from having a good night's sleep and 62% said they take a sleeping pill when away from home.
