Maybe they need to have a blood suck-off

While Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner say they don't compete with each other at all in the filming of Twilight, things seem to be a little bit different over on the set of True Blood. It seems that there's a little bit of tension in the vampire air.

We all know that Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin are the leading couple in True Blood. And most of us wouldn't want it any other way. We love that Sookie is such a nice girl and we highly enjoy following her relationship with Bill. Plus, who can resist the fact that Anna and Stephen are actually together in real life?

But Alexander Skarsgard isn't too pleased by Stephen and Anna's leading roles and wants a larger role for his own character. Plus, he's actually dating fellow True Blood star Evan Rachel Wood in real life, so he's thinking he and Evan could give Stephen and Anna some tough competition.

According to a source, "He wants to be the next Stephen and Anna. But Rachel's character is only recurring and she's a villain. And fans don't favor her character like they do Sookie." We agree, Evan Rachel Wood will never beat out Anna Paquin's character in terms of popularity.

Alexander has even asked the show's producer, Alan Bell, if he could see the scripts for season three (probably to determine the level of his character's part), but Alan said no. So you think Alexander Skarsgard should have a bigger part in the show or that Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin should remain as the show's power couple?

It's pretty obvious you haven't read the books or you would know that Bill becomes a minor character in Book 3 and Eric takes over, in many ways, as the primary male lead. He's the focus of book 4. While the TV Show isn't following the books exactly, they have kept the basic structure. While Skarsgard is the breakout star of the show (Of that there is no doubt), Eric was always slated to become a bigger character as the show went on. Just as he did in the books.

First of all, the show's producer is Alan Ball, not Alan Bell. Secondly, if I ran a website I would be ashamed to reprint this item. I'm not a Hollywood insider, but I am a devoted True Blood fan and an even more devoted Alexander Skarsgard fan. I have watched and read tons of interviews done with him and not one time has he seemed anything less than one of the most gracious and humble of actors. He's stated time and time again how much of a fan of Stephen Moyer he is and how he, Stephen, and Anna are all friends. And likewise, Stephen Moyer has raved about Alexander Skarsgard's talent and personality. I can't say for certain that is is all untrue, but as a 'fangirl' I have neither seen or heard anything that would remotely support these far-fetched claims. Alex Skarsgard is a wonderful actor and these shoddy articles will in no way affect my opinion of what a good person he is.
