Twilight Cast Welcomes Catalina Sandino Moreno

Another vampire

We love hearing news of the stars who are joining the cast of Twilight. And we always wonder if they have any idea how much their lives are about to change. The newest cast member? Catalina Sandino Moreno.

Catalina will be playing Maria in Eclipse. In case you forget (we know, there are a lot of vampires), Maria is the soft-voiced, petite brunette who tries to create a newborn army of vampires. She also recruits Jasper to the cause. We think she looks perfect for the role!

The Colombian actress is best known for her Academy Award nominated role in Maria Full of Grace.

It was also announced earlier this week that Jack Huston will be playing the role of Royce King II in Eclipse. We can't wait to see what other casting announcements are made in the coming days. Filming is getting so close!
