Twilight convention you can't miss

We hear about Twilight gatherings all the time, but now Summit Entertainment is launching their own series of fan-focused events. Here are some details so you can find the convention nearest to you!

The official Twilight conventions actually started last week, with the first one being held in Phoenix, so if you're from the area, hopefully you didn't miss it. In total, there will be 20 official events all over North America in the next 3 years.

The rest of the events this year will be in New Jersey, Chicago, and Vancouver. And next year's events will be in Miami, Seattle, Atlanta, Nashville, and Vancouver (again!). You're a lucky duck if they're making an appearance near you!

Why are the official Twilight conventions so exciting? Well, for one, it's promised that Twilight cast members will be there! Chaske Spencer and Christian Serratos were at the Phoenix convention. Kellan Lutz was supposed to be there too, but had to go film Eclipse instead.

The New Jersey convention is scheduled for the end of August and looks to be super exciting with Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Billy Burke scheduled to appear. But we wonder if they'll get too busy with Eclipse filming too!

TwiCon is still planning to continue on with their own conventions, but we wonder if they can match the awesome-ness of Summit Entertainment's conventions! Check out the Twilight Lexicon website for more information about the official Twilight conventions!
