Twilight Mega Fans Attend Forks Prom
Twilighters Go "Edward and Bella"
Dedicated Twilight fans got to attend a special symposium in which they took classes about the novel set at Forks High, checked out the town, and went to a prom like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson did as Bella and Edward.
The symposium cost $300 for Twilight fans and was another way for the town of Forks, Washington, to soak up economic advantages of Stephanie Meyers' series. "The town was having some major economic issues, because their major export was logging – and then Twilight came along," said blogger Kaleb Nation. "And if you look at Forks now, Stephenie has transformed this town into a Twilight tourism economy. It's crazy."
The Forks prom featured Twilight acts like the Bella Cullen Project, Bella Rocks and the Mitch Hansen Band. The cherry on the top of the Twilight prom fun was when two enthusiastic fans got crowned the King and Queen of the Forks prom. What's your take on the "Twilight economy" in Forks?

With everyone looking forward to the release of New Moon, here are some great shots from the set!
